If you type "ballpoint pen..." in Google, you can see 3 of my pictures in the "Images" section for top suggestions!!!! I never thought those drawings would become that popular in this search engine. It's a very cool and motivating, yet weird feeling.

I am very excited and very grateful for the opportunity of having met so great and helpful people that have encountered my work. A couple of days ago, for the first time, I sold two original ballpoint pen pieces to a collector through the gallery Latin American Art. The owner, Eva Lerner, has been a great help, support and has challenged me outside my comfort zone.

Honestly, I never thought that drawings made with a ballpoint pen would be my medium of choice... after using that instrument mostly to write and doodle occasionally for more than 15 years! Life is funny.

Also I'd like to thank everyone's support here at deviantART, all your comments have been really helpful in boosting me with confidence to keep going. Only life knows how this is going to turn out, but for now I will just keep committed to what I love and happy for all the people I've met along the way.

So I have been reading all sorts of nice and encouraging comments lately, thank you very much. Among those are the ones that declare that these pictures are all Photoshop manipulations of photographs. At first I felt a bit upset, haha, but afterwards I started to realize those are some of the best compliments to the work.

All sorts of expression are truly most helpful and inspiring to keep working, and after all, what would be the point of making art if not for the great experiences that come from sharing what's truly closer to our hearts!
